Foundational Stage (Ages 3–8 | Pre-School to Class 2)
Fully aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), Gurukul Academy nurtures a lifelong love for learning through a vibrant, play-based, and activity-led curriculum focused on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN). We move beyond rote learning to encourage our tiny tots to question, analyze, and communicate through experiential tools like phonetics, clay modeling, puzzles, and expressive storytelling. By integrating modern Smart Classes with practical outdoor field trips, we ensure that building vital motor, linguistic, and cognitive skills becomes an exciting, stress-free adventure for every child.
Preparatory Stage (Ages 8–11 | Classes 3 to 5)
At Gurukul Academy, Petlawad, our Preparatory Stage seamlessly transitions students into formal learning through an interactive, discovery-driven environment. Aligned with NEP 2020, we move away from rote memorization, introducing core subjects like reading, writing, mathematics, and basic science through engaging storytelling and exploratory concepts. Our focus centers on shifting from abstract ideas to concrete, real-world learning, supported by light, stress-free interactive assessments that track holistic progress. Middle Stage (Ages 11–14 | Classes 6 to 8)
In alignment with NEP 2020, the Middle Stage at Gurukul Academy, Petlawad, introduces students to a more structured, subject-focused curriculum while keeping the spirit of experiential learning alive. This crucial phase shifts focus toward critical thinking and abstract concepts across specialized subjects, including sciences, mathematics, humanities, and social sciences. To bridge the gap between academic theory and practical life, we place a strong emphasis on hands-on vocational exposure, initial coding concepts, and real-world problem-solving. Through interactive laboratory experiments, collaborative group projects, and regular skill-based discussions, we empower our students to explore their distinct academic interests and prepare them effectively for higher-level challenges.
Secondary Stage (Ages 14–18 | Classes 9 to 12)
Representing the final and most critical phase of school education under NEP 2020, the Secondary Stage at Gurukul Academy, Petlawad, offers a flexible, multidisciplinary, and student-centric academic environment. This stage moves completely away from rigid stream separations, allowing students the freedom to choose diverse subject combinations that match their unique passions and career goals. We emphasize deep critical thinking, high-level analytical skills, and holistic development to prepare students thoroughly for board examinations, higher education, and future global challenges.
