Every activity in school life plays a significant role in the development of students. Co-curricular activities are an essential part of school life and helps in enhancing, learning process of students at school. Co-Curricular activities are compulsory activities which are important for every student Co-curricular activities are designed and balanced with academic curriculum so that every student gets to learn beyond subjects.
Co-curricular activities are meant to bring social skills, intellectual skills, moral values, personality progress and character appeal in students. The education in Gurukul academy includes athletics, cultural events, Library activities, science lab activities, classroom activities, creative arts and meditation etc.

Today mathematics has become an essential part of our daily life. We spontaneously use mathematics and its concept many a times in our everyday life even without realizing it. Modern era is the era of science and technology. Therefore , the use of mathematics and mathematical techniques has become so important that without its study all round development of a child is quite impossible. Study of mathematics not only sharpens the logical ,analytical and rational thinking among children but also gives idea to learn other subjects .But inspite of its very great utility mathematics haunts most of the students. This is so because much effort has not been made in the past to introduce mathematics as an enjoyable and fun to learn subject . In Gurukul Academy Petlawad , for teaching maths we use different different types of tools. For higher classes students we use touch screen smart classes in Gurukul Academy.

Dynamism with Chemistry
Chemistry is the study of matter and energy and the interaction between them. Chemistry is everywhere in the world around you! It’s in the food you eat, clothes you wear, water you drink, medicines, air, cleaners… you name it. Chemistry sometimes is called the “central science” because it connects other sciences to each other, such as biology, physics, geology, and environmental science. Here are some of the best reasons to study chemistry-
• Chemistry helps you to understand the world around you. Why do leaves change color in the fall? Why are plants green? How is cheese made? What is in soap and how does it clean? These are all questions that can be answered by applying chemistry.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry helps you to read and understand product labels.
• Chemistry is at the heart of cooking. If you understand the chemical reactions in volved in making baked goods rise or neutralizing acidity or thickening sauces, chances are you’ll be a better cook.
• Helps you to understand current events, including news about petroleum, product recalls, pollution, the environment and technological advances.
• Chemistry is fun! There are lots of interesting chemistry projects you can do using common everyday materials. Chemistry projects don’t just go boom. They can glow in the dark, change colors, produces bubbles and change states.

Biotechnology is the application of advances made in the biological sciences, especially involving the science of genetics and its application.
Biotechnology has helped in improving food quality and processing It also has applications in manufacturing, where simple cells and proteins can be manipulated to produce chemicals but biotechnology is most important for its implications in health and medicines. Scientists have been able to create new medicines including interferon for cancer.

Technology has changed our lives forever. Technology has become vast in fulfilling the needs for the students. Smart Boards, Which can access to educational websites are put up in Gurukul Academy so that students can grasp extra information. Gurukul Academy has a well-equipped computer lab where students learn through Practical Knowledge. Today students can visit places around the world and immerse themselves in the world of knowledge without leaving a classroom, using technology.
Most schools will not reach a level of sustainable safety. Our school provides Biometric System for students security purpose and it is possible only through technology. AS all say, children are the future of the world, technology has made it possible for the students to excel them in every field and make them better global litizens.

कामयाबी का रास्ता
एक लड़के ने अपने गुरु से कहा कि **मैं कामयाब बनना चाहता हूं गुरुजी मुझे कामयाबी का रास्ता बताएं।**
गुरु ने लड़के से कहा कि ठीक है ***मैं तुम्हें कामयाबी का रास्ता बता दूंगा लेकिन पहले तुम मेरी बकरी को खूंटे से बांध दो।** इतना कहते हुए गुरु ने बकरी की रस्सी लड़के को पकड़ा दी।
वह बकरी अपने मालिक के अलावा किसी और के काबू में नहीं आती थी। जैसे ही रस्सी लड़के ने पकड़ी वह उछल-कूद करने लगी। बहुत कोशिश करने के बाद भी लड़का उस बकरी को खूंटे से बांध नहीं पा रहा था। तब लड़के ने चतुराई दिखाई पहले उसे पकड़ा और उसके पैर रस्सी से बांध दिए। इसके बाद बड़े आराम से उसने बकरी को खूंटे बांध दिया।
ये देखकर उसके गुरु प्रसन्न हो गए और उन्होंनेअ उससे कहा कि तुमने दिमाग का बहुत अच्छा उपयोग किया है। अगर हम इसी तरह किसी भी समस्या की जड़ को पकड़ लेंगे तो वहबि समस्या बहुत ही आसानी से हल हो जाएगी और हमें कामयाबी मिल जाएगी। यही कामयाबी का मूल मंत्र है।
कथा की सीख
इस कथा की सीख यही है कि हमें परेशानियों में चतुराई से काम लेना चाहिए। पहले परेशानियों की जड़ को समझें यानी परेशानियों की वजह को पहचानें और उसके बाद उसे हल करने की कोशिश करें। इस तरह बड़ी-बड़ी समस्याएं भी आसानी से दूर हो सकती हैं।
